An Unlikely Hero

In a world of heroes and villains, finding your way is trickier than it seems.

This rolling world premiere production is part of “With Great Power: The TYA BIPOC Superhero Project,” an unprecedented national partnership involving 22 playwrights and 24 theaters for young audiences dedicated to creating a new generation of plays about heroes for young people.

An Unlikely Hero, written by Emilio Rodriguez, is a joint production between the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, Metro Theater Company, and Trike Theater.

Recommended Age: 5 and up

On Saturday, January 25, the 10:30 a.m. show features audio description and the 2:00 p.m. show features ASL interpretation. Catch a sensory-friendly performance on Sunday, January 26, at 2:00 p.m.
