May 18 @ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Educators, students, and their families are invited to attend the 63rd Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition Awards Ceremony honoring this year’s student artists and art educators.
As the oldest and only statewide art competition for young artists in grades K-12, Young Arkansas Artists is an essential program that emphasizes the importance of art in education and represents a wide range of media and techniques.
During the awards ceremony, Grand Juror Jeannie Hulen – Studio Art Program Director in the School of Art at the University of Arkansas – will highlight each student’s work selected for this year’s exhibition and present awards for Best in Class, Honorable Mention, and more.
Refreshments are included. Reserving your free tickets for this ceremony is highly encouraged.
The 63rd Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition and awards are supported by the Alice L. Walton Foundation, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, and Cindy and Greg Feltus for the Anne and Robert Hickman Foundation in memory of Laurie Hickman Cox, with additional support from Mid-Southern Watercolorists.
Redeemable coupons awarded to the 63rd Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition honorable mention and best in class winners are provided by Blick Art Materials.
