Learn how watercolors are made, how they work, and the basics of how to paint with them during this one-day workshop.
Explore how to layer color, use washes, and alternative methods like dry brushing to create a desired image. This workshop offers a great introduction to watercolor before a Watercolor Painting class begins in the fall.
Materials and watercolor paper will be available. Students are also welcome to bring their own materials or purchase materials from the AMFA Museum Store.
