Triumph of Vermouth

October 15 @ 6:00 pm 7:30 pm

Photo of a dark brown cocktail garnised with orange in a rocks glass sitting next to a bottle of vermouth.

Vermouth often takes a backseat to more popular spirits like bourbon and gin. But during the late 1800s, vermouth and aromatized wines were important spirits in the mixology world.

Travel back in time during this special vermouth tasting experience celebrating AMFA’s exhibition The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Museum of Art. Learn about the history of these complex fortified wines and ways to use them when mixing cocktails as you sip multiple varieties and brands.

The event is hosted by Lee Edwards, from Haus Alpenz, a pioneer in the business and a legend in Little Rock cocktail culture.

The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Museum of Art is presented by Terri and Chuck Erwin.

The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Museum of Art is organized by the Chrysler Museum of Art, Norfolk, Virginia, and toured by International Arts & Artists, Washington, D.C.
