Celebrate the power of love and creative inspiration at this special screening in honor of AMFA’s exhibition The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Museum of Art.

True romantics may already know the story of Moulin Rouge, but there is no experience quite like seeing this movie musical on the big screen and singing along with a captivated audience.

In the film, a young English poet (Ewan McGregor) living in Paris in 1899 becomes infatuated with Satine (Nicole Kidman), a singer at the Moulin Rouge. However, she has been promised by the manager to a duke in return for funding his next production.

As the young lovers meet in secret, Satine’s wedding day draws closer but she hides a fatal secret from both Christian and the Duke.
