Cuts and Ink: Large Scale Woodblock Printmaking with Yashua Klos

May 3 @ 10:00 am 1:00 pm

Detail photo of a woodblock print depicting a man's face surrounded by flowers and symbols by Yashua Klos.

In this hands-on workshop, experiment with a variety of techniques—including carving, drawing, cut paper, and collage—to transform imagery into bold, dynamic artworks.

AMFA Artist-in-Residence Yashua Klos will guide you through both the technical aspects—such as reproduction, registration, and inking—and the creative process, helping you develop your own unique approach to printmaking.

This workshop is designed to unlock your artistic potential, offering both technical skills and the freedom to express your personal vision through the versatile medium of woodblock printmaking.

This two-day workshop meets on Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 4, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
