The musicians of The Fourth Wall Ensemble are bringing their high-flying shenanigans to AMFA. Part chamber music group, part theatre company, part modern dance troupe, and part circus act, The Fourth Wall blends music, theatre, dance, and acrobatics into a new hybrid art form audiences of all ages will enjoy.
Join us for Without a Net to see what would happen if Bach, Ravel, and Gershwin ran off to join the circus. The evening will be full of music and aerial acrobatics, experiencing the fun of the twirling topsy-turvy trombonist, the fabulous flipping flutist, and the death-defying drummer!
Run Time: 90 minutes.

About the Ensemble
Few musical ensembles earn top marks for their “deft choreography” (The Wall Street Journal), but The Fourth Wall is no ordinary ensemble.
Flutist Hilary Abigana, bass trombonist C. Neil Parsons, and percussionist Greg Jukes founded the ensemble in 2010 out of a shared interest in creating work that stretches the boundaries of instrumental performance.
Without a Net is The Fourth Wall’s latest creation, melding aerial acrobatics, choreographed chamber music, and vaudevillian variety into a wholly unique performance. As Orlando Weekly raves, these fearless musicians “soar to jaw-dropping new heights by combining their classical musicianship and comedic choreography with circus arts in this can’t-miss spectacle for all ages [including] some world’s-first silk routines that would leave Cirque’s stars shook.”
