A found object is an organic or manufactured object, or part of an object, that is found or purchased by an artist because it is interesting. Working with different connection methods, learn to assemble found objects into a sculpture using braizing – a technique for joining dissimilar metals at a safe temperature.
Cold connections (in which parts are joined without heat) will also be used.
This two-day workshop meets on Saturday, May 4, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
