Cubism Painting Workshop

April 26 @ 1:00 pm 4:00 pm

Photo of a man looking at a large Cubist painting of two women in an art gallery.

Explore the groundbreaking artwork featured in Rivera’s Paris and immerse yourself in the world of Cubism during this exciting workshop.

Learn about Cubism and how to deconstruct subjects into geometric shapes and fragmented forms. Using acrylic paint on canvas, students will experiment with composition, focusing on line, shape, and color to create dynamic, multi-perspective pieces.

Whether you are new to Cubism or looking to deepen your understanding, this class provides a hands-on opportunity to express your own artistic vision through Cubist style.

Rivera’s Paris is supported in part by the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts Foundation with additional support from the Robert Lehman Foundation.

This exhibition is organized by the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts.
