This edition of Creative Saturdays celebrates the 63rd Young Arkansas Artists (YAA) exhibition!
Stop by the Windgate Art School to explore selections from the exhibition, enjoy free make-and-take activities, and watch live art demonstrations inspired by the art on view:
- Flex Studio: Create your own collage using a variety of paper textures.
- Drawing Studio: Try your hand at life drawing on paper.
- Metals Studio: Learn more about upcoming metals classes and make a small piece of jewelry.
- Ceramics Studio: Enjoy wheel throwing demonstrations and hear ceramic artmaking tips.
Instructors will be on hand to help you learn more about upcoming art classes and summer camps available for students of all ages.
Then, you can expand your experience by discovering what the rest of the Museum has to offer you:
- Grab a family-friendly Treasure Map and start an adventure that ends with a special prize.
- Enjoy a coffee or tea and browse the books in the Cultural Living Room.
- Explore the galleries and ask our docents questions about the art on view.
- Relax over brunch with incredible views and a locally inspired menu at Park Grill.
