Start your weekend with free art-making fun for all ages and skill levels in AMFA’s Windgate Art School!
Inspired by the Young Arkansas Artists exhibition, which features imaginative work by K–12 students from across the state, this Creative Saturdays activity invites you to create a one-of-a-kind artwork using colorful paint chips.
Use the shapes and shades to build a scene or bring something entirely from your imagination to life through collage.
For preschool-aged children, do not miss Art Start at 10:30 a.m. in the Amerine/Calhoun Glass Box, where there will be a live playful reading of I Am An Artist by Marta Altés. After storytime, young artists will dive into an art-making project using stamps to create a pattern-filled masterpiece.
