Start your weekend with free art-making fun for all ages and skill levels in AMFA’s Windgate Art School!
This special Creative Saturdays activity hosted by Carver STEAM Magnet Elementary School invites guests to embrace the playful spirit of Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat with a wordplay poetry activity.
Draw words from a hat, invent your own short poem, and bring them to life with colorful illustrations. Let your imagination run wild as you craft unique poems and vibrant illustrations in this playful and creative experience!
For preschool-aged children, do not miss Art Start at 10:30 a.m. on the Windgate Art School Art Lawn, where there will be a live reading of The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss.
