May 10 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Start your weekend with free art-making fun for all ages and skill levels in AMFA’s Windgate Art School!
Inspired by the revolutionary Cubist works of Picasso, Braque, and Rivera on view in Rivera’s Paris, this Creative Saturdays activity invites you to explore the world of Cubism through paper collage.
Use paper and dry media to experiment with bold shapes, fragmented perspectives, and overlapping planes to mirror the innovative techniques that redefined modern art. By layering and deconstructing forms, create a dynamic composition that captures the essence of this groundbreaking movement.
Creative Saturdays are supported by the Alice L. Walton Foundation.
The Windgate Art School is generously supported by the Windgate Foundation with additional support from Sherry Worthen in memory of George Worthen.
Windgate Art School’s Reduced Tuition Program is supported in part by Michael Laughter. Reduced tuition is automatically applied on all classes through 2025.
