Celebrate Native American Heritage Month at this special Creative Saturdays hosted by the American Indian Center of Arkansas. Stop by the Windgate Art School to create traditional Cherokee corn husks cool and clay beaded necklaces, plus enjoy a storytelling session at 11:00 a.m.

Expand this special experience by discovering what the rest of the Museum has to offer you:

  • Grab a family-friendly Treasure Map and start an adventure that ends with a prize.
  • Order a coffee or tea and browse the books in the Cultural Living Room.
  • Explore the galleries and ask our docents questions about the art on view.
  • Relax over brunch with incredible views and a locally inspired menu at Park Grill.

About the American Indian Center of Arkansas

The American Indian Center of Arkansas is a non-profit organization, led by a Native American/Alaska Native board of directors, that has been operating since 1977. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for Native American/Alaska Native individuals in Arkansas through job training and placement, older American employment and training, mental health services, and education programs.
