October 19, 2024 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Stop by the Windgate Art School to enjoy free, hands-on activities and exciting demonstrations during this special edition of Creative Saturdays. Whether you are an experienced artist or a first-time maker, this event provides an all-access pass for guests of all ages to experience a variety of artistic disciplines.
Inspired by the art on view in AMFA’s exhibition The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Museum of Art, start your Saturday in the Flex Studio by creating colorful prints and texture-rubbed artworks using flowers and foliage. Then, explore other open studios to try out throwing pottery, pinching pots, embossing ornaments, and more!
Expand your experience by discovering what the rest of the Museum has to offer you:
- Grab a family-friendly Treasure Map and start an adventure that ends with a prize.
- Catch a performance of The Legend of Sleepy Flurffy at 11:00 or 12:00.
- Enjoy a coffee or tea and browse the books in the Cultural Living Room.
- Explore the galleries and ask our docents questions about the art on view.
- Relax over brunch with incredible views and a locally inspired menu at Park Grill.
