July 21 @ 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
During this time at AMFA, thoughtful adjustments will be made across the Museum to create a more comfortable experience for guests with sensory sensitivities. Guests can enjoy a gentle reduction in lighting and volume throughout the galleries, as well as a quiet area for those needing space to relax and recharge during their visit.
Staff members stationed at each Guest Services Desk will also have weighted blankets and sensory bags on hand for both children and adults. Each sensory bag contains headphones, sunglasses, a fidget item, and a weighted plush for added comfort and convenience.
