As the oldest and only statewide art competition for young artists, Young Arkansas Artists is an essential program that emphasizes the importance of art in education and represents a wide range of media and techniques.
Educators, students, and their families are invited to celebrate the 62nd Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition during an in-person award ceremony honoring this year’s artists.
Grand Juror Brian Young, Director of the Baum Gallery at the University of Central Arkansas, will announce the student works selected for this year’s virtual exhibition and present special awards chosen by a panel of professional artists, collectors, and art educators.
The 62nd Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition is supported by Donna de Varona, John Pinto, and John David Pinto.
The 62nd Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition awards are supported in part by Arkansas Children’s Hospital and Mid-Southern Watercolorists.
Redeemable coupons awarded to the 62nd Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition honorable mention and best in class winners are provided by BLICK Art Materials.
